Using his deep experience and understanding of gaming, Kennedy solved the problem by creating “games” to teach sellers the fine points of Canon equipment. Kennedy has produced over 120 training games for Canon creating fun sales training for the sales reps all over the world.
Cartoon Network, no novice itself when it comes to web development, kept their competitive edge by investing early in the creation of signature games for their most popular shows. When they hired the Kennedys, they stepped up their game and made their biggest investment ever for a gaming product. The investment paid off. The Batman game remained their most popular game for 2 years running and created countless opportunities to generate advertising revenues.
Aisha Morris and her father, Stevie Wonder took Justin under their wing as a young entertainment attorney. Justin worked on putting a record label together for Stevie and threw an amazing jam session at Stevie’s home in Alpine, New Jersey. When DMX decided that he wanted to launch the Mary Ella Foundation, named after his late grandmother. Justin was happy to get the job done. The foundation was aimed at giving scholarships for tuition and school supplies to those in need. DMX and Eve where one of the 1st waves of rappers who wanted to organize and give back to their communities.
When New York City's leading radio station Clear Channel's Z100, wanted to grow their listening audience they asked the Kennedys to develop the right solution. With Z100's target audience in mind, the Kennedys developed a fast-paced, hugely dynamic game featuring their #1 DJ. Romeo. They rewarded game high scorers with concert tickets as part of a larger promotional effort. The game's legacy relationship with their audience continues to this day.
When this major book publisher needed an innovative way to promote STICK to a younger, hipper market, they gave the Kennedys a call. Using animation that reinforced and supported the book content, the Kennedys created a sophisticated STICK Hang Man game utilizing original jazz music which they composed to appeal to the target audience. Random House used the mini-site to promote book sales and encourage consumers to learn to embrace the STICK brand both on and offline.
Established in 1992 by Latifah’s mother, Rita L. Owens, in honor of her late son who died in a motorcycle accident, the Lancelot H. Owens Scholarship Foundation awards college scholarships to economically challenged students.

In the early 2000’s, Prince was actively inviting artist from all over the world to perform at Paisley Park Studios. Justin happened to be representing Amel Larrieux at the time and Prince wanted her to come to Minneapolis. Amel left all of the coordination, contracts and management up to Justin. Prince was a very generous host and Kennedy actually got to know him well. Although Justin has had many great experiences in life, getting to actually know Prince is one that he will cherish forever.
In the 2004, the Kennedys collaborated with The Roots to produce an online video game encouraging people to vote in the 2004 presidential election. Justin met the Roots when he was representing Marc Levin’s company, Off Line Entertainment Group during the filming of "Brooklyn Babylon" featuring Tariq Trotter from the Roots.
Justin worked at the firm as an attorney for several years. He sat as attorney at all Housing Authority meetings, litigated all landlord tenant matters, filed tax appeals and litigated tax related issues. Justin has also represented landlords in the purchasing and selling of real property. He learned a lot about the practice of law here.

Justin was very excited to broker an opportunity for Cindy Blackman to perform on Japan’s major television station, NHK. Justin was a Lenny Kravitz fan and he had followed her career when she was drumming for him. This was the first of many international deals for Justin.

Primarily, he drafted Wills, Power of Attorney documents, and Bankruptcy Petitions. Kennedy also represented clients in court with respect to their contractual disputes, debt settlements, and traffic violations. This was very rewarding work.
