 In the early 2000’s, Prince was actively inviting artist form all over the world to perform at Paisley Park Studios. Kennedy happened to be representing Amel Larrieux at the time and Prince wanted her to come to Minneapolis. Amel left all of the coordination, contracts and management up to Kenendy. Prince was a very generous host and Kennedy actually got to know him well.
